A valuable victory in the Effie competition promises a bright future

The enormous effort, time, and resources invested in rebranding the Teta drugstore chain have paid off! This project, which is unique in its scope and was created by MORIS design in collaboration with Dynamo design, won the Effie Awards in the Other Services category. The main criterion for evaluation at the Effie Awards is not only creativity, but above all the results of the campaigns, i.e. the effectiveness of planning, market research, media use and budget management.

This is the most prestigious award in the industry, and we are very happy to receive it!

The key success of the project was primarily a significant increase in sales and purchase volume in new stores, which was achieved with minimal media support. The rebranding began in July 2013 and continues in various forms to this day. This project is the largest complete remodeling in Czechia.

The project was designed so that Teta stores would offer their customers unique added value. The goal was to create a shopping atmosphere where customers could slow down in their daily rush, drink a coffee, or visit the children's corner with their offspring. "The redesign and rebranding increased store sales by 28%," said David Vejtruba, marketing director of PK Solvent, which owns the Teta chain, about MORIS design's victory in the competition.

From the very beginning, the entire project was subject to very careful and precise preparation. A fully functional store was built in the MORIS design hall, where all the samples produced were tested. In addition to MORIS design employees, marketers, salespeople, and sales assistants from the Teta chain also participated in the tests. Thanks to this preparation and sophisticated logistics, we are now able to open one to two stores a day throughout the Czech Republic. It takes us only 8 hours to install the interior equipment.

"Customers spend more time in the new stores and return regularly," adds Adam Klofáč, Sales Director at MORIS design. The desire of customers to spend as much time as possible in our rebranded stores is the most important criterion that the Teta project has fulfilled with flying colors, and this is what the Effie competition jury appreciated most, which we proudly turned into gold.
