About MORIS design
MORIS design s.r.o. (founded in 1997) is a leading Czech company in the field of in-store design, branding, and POS displays, with significant overlap into the field of marketing. The name comes from the company's focus in its early days – Municipal Orientation Systems. Since then, the company has grown continuously, expanding its scope, capacity, and technological capabilities. Today, it completely implements any commercial interiors (including exteriors), from design through development, testing, and production to the actual installation, always with regard to the client's business and marketing goals. In addition to operating on the Czech and Slovak markets, where it has branches, the company regularly implements projects throughout Europe and exports to more than 45 countries, including the EU, the USA, China, and Australia.
The company can be divided into three divisions – MORIS design, MORIS construction, and MORIS distribution.
MORIS construction provides comprehensive construction services, usually acting as the general contractor from project design to construction. It carries out construction modifications to commercial and non-commercial spaces (shops, showrooms, office spaces, apartments, and houses).
MORIS distribution is an exclusive representative of premium brands. The company is the exclusive representative of brands such as LEATHERMAN, LEDLENSER, WYLEY X, GOAL ZERO, SETOLITE, and LIFESAVER for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The company is located at Černíky 7, 289 15 Černíky. At our new 60,000 m² facility in Černíky, we have brought together production, development, and administration under one roof, and we plan to further develop it into an inspiring work environment.

Company management
Today, Adam runs the company with his brother Filip. Together, they manage the entire company—strategic planning, business negotiations, client relations, and overall development and expansion.
He has worked his way up through the company from the bottom. A huge step forward for him was MORIS's exceptional project – the rebranding of the entire Teta drugstore chain, which has been employing a large number of colleagues for several years now. And no wonder, as it involves the rebranding of more than 800 stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
He gradually worked his way up to the position of sales director and also founded and manages the MORIS construction division. He now makes full use of his experience in his role as co-owner. He currently runs the company together with his brother Filip.

Filip is the co-owner and CEO of the company, and during his career at MORIS, he has tried his hand at everything that was needed. He literally climbed his way up from administrative work and production processes to head of the distribution division and finally to the very top. Thanks to his wide range of experience, he succeeded in implementing a new enterprise information system in the company. While working full-time, he managed to complete a master's degree at the University of Economics.
As co-owner, he is involved in the management of the entire company, focusing on the production process and project implementation.

Company founder
MORIS design was founded on May 7, 1997, by Radomír Klofáč. Over the years, he has built the company into a market leader and expert in in-store design. During that time, its clients have included the most famous brands on the Czech and international retail scene.
Radomír Klofáč (January 6, 1968, Prague) is a Czech entrepreneur, managing director, and founder of the Czech family company MORIS design, which he established in 1997. He guided his company through all the important changes that accompanied its growth. For his leadership of the company during the economic crisis, he received the Czech Chamber of Commerce's "Despite the Crisis" award in 2009. He was named Marketer of the Year 2013 for his comprehensive approach.
His greatest achievement is that his sons Adam and Filip now run the company with the same family values.

Company history
Immediately after the revolution, Radomír Klofáč began producing interior furnishings from metal and glass with virtually no resources. He began furnishing shops and stores with his own original furniture. In 1997, he became acquainted with signmaking when he offered Czech cities free signage for non-commercial buildings in exchange for operating a commercial system for 20 years. Three cities were interested in the offer, and thus the MORIS project – Municipal Orientation Systems – was born.
- May 7, 1997 – Radomír Klofáč founds MORIS design, which initially focuses on the production of urban orientation systems. On the same day, he acquires an older plotter, graphics, premises, and begins writing the story of a family business.
- 1998 – The company produces the largest poster in the history of Czech outdoor advertising at the time – an outdoor megaboard featuring Václav Klaus, which was produced overnight and used during his campaign in Letná.
- 2004 – The company's first major contract was the rebranding of 163 Kodak stores. At the same time, it established cooperation with Panasonic and, over time, became the general supplier of permanent battery sales stands throughout Europe. At the same time, the company moved from Prague's Vinohrady district to a new production branch in Nusle.
- 2006 - As the importance and level of orders grew, the company began to enter its projects in industry competitions both at home and abroad. In 2006, the company won its first Golden Crown in the POPAI Central Europe competition. Since then, MORIS design has often dominated similar competitions with its projects.
- 2009 - The economic crisis affected companies around the world, MORIS included. At that time, companies began to lay off employees on a large scale in order to minimize their costs. In contrast, the founder of MORIS began to educate his employees and invest in new technologies. When the crisis passed, the company was ready and gained a huge lead over its competitors.
- 2012 - The company won a contract for the complete rebranding of more than 800 Teta drugstores in Czechia and Slovakia.
- 2018 - Founder Radomír Klofáč gradually handed over the management of the company to his sons Adam and Filip, who are now fully involved in the management of the company.
- 2021 - The company won bronze, silver, and gold for three different projects at the prestigious global POPAI Awards Paris competition. This was the first time in the history of the competition that a company had won all three places in a single year.
- 2022 - With more than 1,200 stores completed and 70+ awards, the company celebrates 25 years since its founding. The current owners, Adam and Filip Klofáč, are now fully responsible for the management and further development of the company.
Our completed projects
In-Store design
In terms of in-store design, we have had the opportunity to give a new look to several thousand stores in the Czech Republic and abroad over the past few years. We are gradually modernizing the Teta drugstore chain in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We have carried out a complete rebranding and new design concept for our partner Super Zoo, which we are gradually implementing in their stores. We have also equipped selected stores with above-standard features, such as a dog salon, a veterinarian, and the Nasyptesi service. Our new concept for Sportisimo can be seen not only in Prague, but also in Bucharest, Romania. We have designed and built kiosks and stores for the three largest operators in Czechia – O2, Vodafone, and T-Mobile. This is only a fraction of our largest projects.
Sales stands
You can find our sales stands throughout the Czech Republic and abroad. This is also the case with our first major order in this sector – the production of Panasonic stands for stores across Europe. The practical Primalex display stand for PPG Deco Czech allows customers to compare paint shades in different lighting conditions. We have also produced display stands for decorative cosmetics for Revlon and Dermacol. In supermarkets, you may have come across our designs for Stella Artois, Plzeňský prazdroj, Hamé, and Moët & Chandon.
Our awards
MORIS design has already won a number of prestigious domestic and international awards. These include first place in the VISA Czech Top Shop 2021 competition and the Duhový paprsek (Rainbow Ray) award, several POPAI Awards in the Czech Republic, and silver in the prestigious Family Business of the Year 2019 poll by Equa Bank. It is the only company in the history of the POPAI Awards Paris to have won gold, silver, and bronze statuettes in a single year. The company has also won the prestigious Marketer of the Year award several times.

VISA Czech Top Shop and VISA Slovak Top Shop
We have been helping our clients move forward for twenty-five years. Now we can also contribute to the development of Czech and Slovak retail thanks to the unique VISA Czech Top Shop and VISA Slovak Top Shop projects. These introduce consumers to other interesting stores and enable retailers to improve the customer experience. Every month, a panel of experts visits stores throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where they evaluate the design concept, service, product presentation, and several other criteria. Each month, the best store is announced, putting it in the spotlight and allowing it to compete for the prestigious Store of the Year title.
POPAI CE
POPAI CENTRAL EUROPE is the Central European branch of the global POPAI association. It represents the field of point-of-purchase marketing and works for professionals involved in this field. The mission of POPAI CENTRAL EUROPE is to create a communication platform for manufacturers and suppliers of in-store communication media, digital media, advertisers, advertising agencies, and retail representatives. Through our membership, we support the education of local companies, conduct research, provide information on the retail sector, and contribute to its overall development.
May Regatta
Since 2013, MORIS design has been the organizer and main partner of the May Regatta, an offshore race that takes place every year off the Croatian coast. The race lasts four days (Monday to Thursday), including one night stage. This gives crews plenty of time to get together and train before the start, as well as enjoy another day off after the race. The race has fixed rules, but after each stage, everyone can choose whether to anchor together or stay alone in a nearby bay. Whether you are an experienced yachtsman or a beginner, don't hesitate to join us, we will be happy to welcome you!
