Filip Klofáč participated in a panel discussion at the Family Businesses conference
The Economia publishing house has long been involved in issues relating to family businesses, and yesterday a conference on this topic was held at the Aureole restaurant in Prague. Together with representatives of family businesses, the organizer took an in-depth look at issues related to the operation and succession of family businesses, provided tips based on many practical examples, uncovered potential problems, discussed legislative and cultural barriers, and openly presented possible solutions based on case studies and discussions. The functioning of family businesses in the Czech Republic and abroad was also compared in a discussion with representatives from Germany and Switzerland. The last panel of the conference was attended by the younger generation of sons and daughters who are either awaiting succession or have already begun the process of handing over the reins to their founding fathers. Filip Klofáč, son of the owner of MORIS design, also took part in this lighter discussion, which was moderated by Martin Jašminský, editor-in-chief of Hospodářské noviny. The issue of the operation and transfer of family businesses is a topic that MORIS design, given its family nature, will continue to address in the future.
