The 23rd May Regatta has begun
After Sunday's training and the opening ceremony, all 14 crews set off on the first leg of this year's May Regatta. After 33 miles, all boats arrived at the marina in Veli Iž.
The navigation race also includes a popular night stage, which this year led from the island of Rutnajk to the port of Sali on the island of Dugi Otok.
The May Regatta has been held regularly in Croatian waters since 2001, when it was founded by passionate yachtsman Jiří Jelínek. Since 2013, it has been sponsored by MORIS design, whose founder Radomír Klofáč was a frequent participant in the races.
