About the project
Démos is the largest supplier of furniture manufacturing materials in the Czech Republic, with more than twenty years of tradition.
We faced a difficult task at the Démos store – to create a unique modern space combining the needs of B2B and B2C customers. To combine a large showroom and a store for end customers. Both groups have their own specific characteristics, and neither of them should feel neglected or disadvantaged. So we started by creating a clear customer journey for both groups, which was also the main point of the entire redesign.
We supported orientation in the store with light navigation for individual product categories. Due to the color and shape diversity of the assortment, we chose the technically and visually cleanest possible presentation on white stands. Their versatility is underlined by interchangeable panels that can be adapted to different types of displayed goods.
Light navigation then directs customers to individual product categories. As part of the signage, we also set up a basic graphic manual for the use of space in supplier navigation so that it still works in conjunction with our own products. For each category and subcategory, we designed a solution targeted at the customer, who can compare each product with its counterpart and try out different types of LED lighting. Thanks to the simple and clean appearance of the overall display, customers in the store can find their way around more quickly, which also makes it easier for them to make their final product selection.
The 560 m2 of cluttered space has been transformed into an architecturally clean, modern store. Our unified displays beautifully highlight key products, turning the entire store into an inspiring environment where customers can easily find what they are looking for.
