About the project

The aim of the sports equipment store design concept is to differentiate the sales channel from standard Czech sports stores and bring it closer to premium European concepts in order to positively influence the emotions and behavior of the target group. The design combines wilderness and high-tech, reminding customers of the ever-closer relationship between technology and nature. That is why the organically shaped mountains, rocks, and glaciers were chosen to contrast with the designer mountain props such as skis, LCD screens, a fireplace, and other staged mountain motifs. Everything is complemented by stacked logs of chopped wood and illuminated in a shape reminiscent of the mountain massif logo. The concept is very clearly and functionally organized into logical sales categories and, thanks to its variable components and platforms, allows for the presentation and easy changeover of goods from winter to summer.

MORIS design is also the author of the design of the associated restaurant, where customers can enjoy excellent coffee or lunch after shopping.

The store opened its doors to customers on November 4, offering a completely new perspective on this growing market segment in the busy pre-Christmas period. Sales results exceeded all expectations on the very first weekend.
