About the project
We created design prototypes for Philip Morris' IQOS, including technical solutions.
We designed a highly sophisticated technical solution for the IQOS product set – illuminated letters, a docking station, a coin dispenser, and a counter display.
The IQOS illuminated letters are designed from opal plexiglass, including lighting using white LED modules and a dimming sensor to attract the attention of shoppers. We also designed a docking station for five devices with a charging adapter, which includes a dimming sensor. The coin box is made of shaped and tempered glass with matt-cut edges and comes with a holder for replacing the glass if necessary. The dominant feature of the coin box is the 3D IQOS logo, which is large enough to attract attention. The counter display is the highlight of the technical solution, with a 3D LED logo and magnetic interchangeable price tags. We have also come up with an excellent solution for product holders with mechanical anti-theft reels. The entire set ensures effective product presentation directly at the point of sale and becomes an effective tool for long-term brand building.
