About the project
Komerční banka in Prague – Holešovice underwent a complete modernization. As part of this, we equipped the branch with new furniture and design elements designed by the Reaktor studio. The visually clean furnishings, with their modularity and flexibility, complement the modern, airy interior of the branch.
Right at the entrance, clients are greeted by the slogan "We are betting on a green future" on a powder-coated metal grid. Green plants provide sufficient contrast to the industrial style, emphasizing the meaning of the words. The rounded shapes of the cabinets and tables are based on the current possibilities of digital technology. More heavily used elements, such as desk tops, are made of high-pressure laminate. This prevents rapid wear and tear on the equipment. On the other hand, for cabinets in the back office or containers, which are not subject to as much wear and tear, we chose more affordable laminated chipboard.
We applied our extensive experience from a number of successful fit-outs, particularly in the implementation of staff facilities with a kitchenette. We helped to adapt the space to the needs of everyday operations. We also optimized some of the other equipment to ensure a smoother redesign of other branches.
Among other things, we also process plastic in our production and provide electrical installations. We supplemented some of the design elements with plastic components and LED lighting. These are round lights that illuminate the space discreetly and naturally. They contribute to a pleasant atmosphere that focuses more on the customer and their comfort than on the bank. This intention is also supported by elements made of natural materials, especially solid wood and oak veneer.
