About the project

The assignment to create a unique store called "Pod 7 kilo" was clear. To create a unique in-store design that would distinguish the store with ultra-light equipment for traveling light in the city and in nature. The brand "Pod 7 kilo" means having the lightest equipment for traveling. The concept is based on simplicity, but also on practicality, just like the products on offer. Individual sections of the store are marked with designer information signs in the brand color. To highlight certain products, atypical signs with stickers and descriptions of the promotional model are used. This way, customers are immediately drawn to the special offers with important information. The combination of decorated wood and metal gives a feeling of natural lightness, but also material durability. The communication zone is designed at the front with a world map featuring photos of customers from different countries who have purchased a product. This allows customers to see in which parts of the world the products they have purchased are used. The rear section features a quieter zone for trying out sleeping bags or shoes. Here, too, it became clear that it is not only important to design a good store, but also to deliver measurable results with added value.
